Trades ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Trades: Calc mobile application (Bundle ID: com.trades.calc). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

The short version: Trades: Calc performs all calculations locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

1. Information We Collect

Trades: Calc is designed with privacy at its core. We collect essentially no personal information:

No account or login required. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
No analytics or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies.
No device permissions. The app does not request access to your camera, location, contacts, health data, microphone, or any other device capabilities.
Local preferences only. The app stores your settings (such as display preferences) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal information for us to use, sell, or share. All calculations are performed entirely on your device. Your inputs and results stay on your device and are never transmitted to any server.

3. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into Trades: Calc is Apple StoreKit 2, which handles in-app purchases. When you make a purchase:

The transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).
Apple's privacy practices govern any data related to purchases. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not integrate any other third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or data brokers.

4. Data Storage and Security

All app data, including your preferences and calculation history, is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data:

Is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
Is never transmitted to external servers.
Is never backed up to our servers (though it may be included in your iCloud or iTunes device backups, which are governed by Apple's privacy practices).
Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or using the "Delete All Data" option in Settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Trades: Calc does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no personal data, the app is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. No special parental consent is required.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the app. Your continued use of Trades: Calc after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
