Gratuiti is a tip calculator for iOS. Your privacy matters to us. Here’s exactly what the app does and doesn’t do with your data.
We track anonymous feature usage (which buttons you tap, not what you type). We never track bill amounts, tip amounts, or your location through analytics. TelemetryDeck does not use cookies or personal identifiers. See telemetrydeck.com/privacy for their policy.
If you grant location permission, Gratuiti uses your GPS coordinates to auto-tag the restaurant name when you save a tip. This data is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to any server. Location data is encrypted at rest and excluded from iCloud backups.
Your tip history (bill amounts, tip amounts, locations, notes) is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. This data never leaves your device. You can delete all data at any time using the “Delete All Data” option in settings.
The free version of Gratuiti displays a banner ad powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising). Upgrading to Gratuiti Pro removes all advertising.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
You can delete all stored data at any time: open settings (gear icon) → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all tip history, location data, and preferences from your device.
Gratuiti does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
